A boy was seriously hurt after tumbling out of a second-floor window in Jersey City Friday evening, police and witnesses say.
The 7-year-old child fell out while playing near the window of his home on Rose Avenue, according to a witness.
"He hit his knees, then hit his head on the ground, boom. Just like that," said Jack Daly.
Blood stains were visible on the sidewalk after the boy was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center, where he's listed in stable condition, according to the boy's father, who does not live at the home.
The boy is 7 years old, the father tells NBC 4 New York.
