A 4-year-old boy drowned in the backyard pool of his Long Island home, police say.
The boy, identified as Adrian Schrone, was found unresponsive in a semi-inground pool at his Bay Shore home Monday afternoon, Suffolk police said.
The adults in the home attempted CPR, then rushed him to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Authorities say they are investigating.
