Bicyclist Dies in Collision with Truck in Brooklyn: Police

A 33-year-old bicyclist was killed Wednesday morning in Brooklyn when he collided into a rear tire of a tractor trailer, police said.

The victim, James Gregg, of Union Street in Brooklyn, was pedaling alongside the 18-wheeler on 6th Avenue in the Park Slope neighborhood at about 8 a.m. when he collided with a rear tire.

The accident happened at the intersection with Sterling Place, investigators said.

The cyclist died at the scene, police said.

The truck driver remained at the scene. No charges have been filed.
