Arrest Made in Hell's Kitchen Machete Attack: NYPD

A 57-year-old homeless man has been arrested and charged in the machete attack of a worker at a Hell's Kitchen deli, police said Sunday.

Rigoberto Reyes was charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal trespassing, the NYPD said.

He was arrested about three hours after the attack on Saturday morning at the Liberty Bagel & Deli on Ninth Avenue, police said.

Video shows the attacker run inside the deli and strike the 35-year-old worker at the counter in the shoulder. The worker falls to the ground.

He suffered cuts to his left shoulder and was treated at a nearby hospital, police said.
