Authorities have made an arrest in the fatal shooting of a teenage girl at an Atlantic City home.

But details about what happened at the residence on South Massachsetts Avenue have not been disclosed.

Atlantic County prosecutors say 18-year-old Nahquil Lovest, of Pleasantville, was arrested without incident Friday morning and charged with murder.

The arrest came a day after 15-year-old Naimah Bell was found shot in the head. Police responded to home around 4:15 a.m. after a 911 caller reported the shooting. The teenage victim was found there a short time later.

In a news release, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner said the shooting is being investigated as a homicide, but further details — including a possible motive — were not disclosed.

No other injuries were reported in the shooting. No arrests have been made.
