Amtrak Train Gets Stuck in East River Tube: FDNY

An Amtrak train carrying 123 passengers got stuck inside a tunnel in the East River tube on its way out of Penn Station, authorities say. 

The train, which was headed to New Haven, got stuck since after 7 p.m., according to the FDNY.

A rescue train arrived after about two hours and helped pull the disabled train back into a Queens station. 

It's not clear why the train got stuck.
