Amazon Expands Free Whole Foods Grocery Delivery to Long Island and NYC

The grocery delivery service, which originally launched earlier this year, is now available in 24 cities across the U.S.

Amazon and Whole Foods Market expanded their grocery delivery service Tuesday to parts of Long Island and New York City.

Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn are the first areas of New York City to give Prime members access to the delivery service, but the whole city will eventually have coverage. 

The service, which originally launched earlier this year, is now available in 24 cities and will continue to expand to additional neighborhoods in New York City and across the U.S. throughout 2018.

Prime members can shop thousands of items across fresh and organic produce, bakery, dairy, meat and seafood, floral, everyday staples and select alcohol from Whole Foods Market.

Delivery is free for orders over $35 and is available daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Those who would like to expedite their order to 1-hour delivery can do so for $7.99.

Customers can start shopping from the Whole Foods Market selection at www.primenow.com or by using the Prime Now app available on Android and iOS devices.
