Police executing a search warrant at a Brooklyn home Tuesday found five pythons, four boa constrictors and an alligator, authorities say.
Police had gotten a tip that exotic animals were inside the Atlantic Avenue apartment in Bedford-Stuyvesant and went to check it out shortly before 7:30 a.m.
The reptiles were taken to the Bronx Zoo.
Johnnie Morgan, 44, was arrested on charges of reckless endangerment, marijuana possession and violation of a local law against keeping exotic animals.
It wasn't immediately clear if he had an attorney.
