Eleven people were hurt, including an infant who was seriously injured, in a three-car accident on Staten Island Tuesday morning, authorities say.
Fire officials say a car, a minivan and another vehicle crashed near Harold Street and Gansevoort Boulevard shortly before 8 a.m.
The baby was taken to the hospital in critical condition; the 10 other victims were taken to nearby hospitals, mostly with minor injuries, authorities say.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
