Need a new bike? Want to sell an old one? Head out to Park Slope on Saturday for the Bike Jumble -- an event that brings together bike riders with vendors of bikes, bike parts and accessories.
The event is part of Bike Month in New York City.
The Bike Jumble, which takes place in the Old Stone House, allows East Coast swap meet pros, to mingle with company reps dumping old samples and guys and gals cleaning out their closets of old bike gear.
Last week, the city, which is seeking to increase bike ridership, released a series of celebrity studded ads to remind New Yorkers about cycling rules.
The campaign -- called "Don't Be A Jerk" -- features celebrities Mario Batali, John Leguizamo and Paulina Porizkova on their bikes as they ride throughout New York City exhibiting the kind of egregious cycling that incurs the wrath of pedestrians and drivers.
