Police say a young Bronx mother was shot and killed by a stray bullet while walking to a store in her neighborhood.
Relatives say 24-year-old Yaritza Pacheco was a single mom who worked at an Applebee's restaurant in Upper Manhattan.
They said Pacheco told one of her friends she thought she was struck in the neck before she collapsed.
A 23-year-old man also was shot. He's in stable condition.
The gunman remains at large. Police are investigating.
