Yonkers is providing sandbags for residents who live in flood-prone areas.
Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano says more flash flooding is anticipated.
Residents can pick up sandbags until 7 p.m. Friday and again on Saturday, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
They're available at the Yonkers Organic Waste Yard, on Nepperhan Avenue.
