Police Investigate Alleged Criminal Sexual Act at Yonkers School

Police were notified of the incident by the father of a 13-year-old female student, after the school district alerted the family.

Yonkers Police are investigating an alleged criminal sexual act at the Cross Hill Academy, a public middle school at 160 Bolmer Avenue.

Police were notified of the incident by the father of a 13-year-old female student, after the school district alerted the family.

Investigators said the act reportedly happened at noon on Tuesday, April 24 on school property. It was reported to police two days later.

Police would not say if the incident involves another student or a staff member, but said there is no ongoing public threat.

Citing the age of the victim, police are releasing few details. 

There has been no arrest, and investigation is ongoing. Police said school officials and the victim are cooperating.
