A yellow taxi flipped over on a service road alongside the Long Island Expressway in Queens Tuesday evening, sending four people to the hospital, authorities say.

The taxi overturned at Borden and Maurice avenues in Maspeth at about 4:15 p.m., trapping the driver and three passengers inside the vehicle, according to the FDNY.

Emergency responders extricated the four occupants and took them to Elmhurst Hospital, where they were listed in serious condition.
