Workers Rescued from 42nd Floor of Midtown Building After Scaffold Collapse

The FDNY had to cut through a window to pull them in

Two workers were rescued from the 42nd floor of a midtown building after their scaffold apparently collapsed Wednesday morning, authorities said.

Part of the scaffold was brought down manually but the workers remained harnessed to the building on Sixth Avenue and 46th Street.

The FDNY had to cut through a window to pull them in.

No injuries were reported. The workers were taken to Bellevue Hospital as a precaution.
