300-Pound Tattooed Robber Brutally Beats Woman Working at Dry Cleaning Shop: NYPD

A 58-year-old woman working at a Queens dry cleaning shop was brutally assaulted and robbed, and police are searching for the heavyset man who unleashed on her, authorities say.

Police say the suspect walked into Hong Kong Dry Cleaners in Richmond Hill just before 11 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, threw the woman to the floor, and kicked her repeatedly. He then took $3,000 in cash from her hand and ran away.

The woman was taken to Jamaica Hopsital to be treated for a facial fracture and swollen lip.

The suspect is about 300 pounds and has tattoos on his arms, police say. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
