Police are looking for a woman suspected of hitting another woman over the head with a tire iron in the Bronx last month.
Authorities say Gloribel Serrano attacked the 35-year-old victim near East Bedford Park and Marion Avenue in Bedford Park at about 2:30 a.m. on May 12. Serrano allegedly approached the victim and struck her in the head with the tire iron.
The victim was taken to an area hospital and released. It was not clear what sparked the attack.
Police released a photo of Serrano, who they say is about 26 years old. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
