A woman was stabbed early Saturday morning at Manhattan's Herald Square after arguing with a couple who then fled into a subway station, police said.
The 25-year-old victim was slashed in the shoulder and stabbed in the stomach by another woman shortly after 5 a.m., while walking on Broadway between 34th and 35th streets, police said. The victim had been walking with her boyfriend and another couple, but had lagged behind before getting into a dispute with the suspects.
The suspects fled into a nearby subway station and boarded a northbound F train, police said.
The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital Center, where she was said to be in stable condition, investigators said.
There were no immediate reports of any arrests.
