Police are searching for a group of people who allegedly robbed a 30-year-old woman and stabbed her on a Manhattan street early Saturday morning.
The woman was on Seventh Avenue near 17th Street when she got into an argument with another woman and three men shortly before 3 a.m., police said.
One of the people in the group stabbed the woman in the thigh, cutting her, and then took $50 in cash from her, according to police.
The attackers fled, and the victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where she was treated and released.
Police have released surveillance images of the suspects from before the confrontation inside a pizzeria at 72 Christopher St. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
