Police are investigating the shooting death of a woman in the Bronx Thursday.
Officers responded to a call on the 900 block of Waring Avenue shortly after 3 p.m. and found a woman in her 20s with a gunshot wound to the torso, police said. She was unconscious and unresponsive.
EMS transported the woman to Jacobi Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The victim has not been identified, and no arrest has been made.
