New Jersey Woman Gets 5 Years in State Prison for Man's Penis Enlargement Death

A New Jersey woman has been sentenced to five years in state prison for causing a man's death by injecting silicone into his penis.

Kasia Rivera, 38, of East Orange pleaded guilty in September to delivering the silicone injection that killed Justin Street in May 2011, according to NJ.com.

Authorities say Street went to Rivera's home so she could inject his penis with silicone, which he hoped would enlarge it. A medical examiner determined that the 22-year-old East Orange man died of a silicone embolism and ruled the death a homicide.

Rivera acknowledged that she wasn't a trained doctor or licensed to administer the injection.

"This woman had no business injecting anyone with anything," Assistant Essex County Prosecutor William Neafsey said in a statement.

Rivera must serve 85 percent of her sentence before she is eligible for parole. She also could be deported to her native Jamaica.
