    Woman Raped in Port Authority Bus Terminal: Police

    Police are seeking a rapist who attacked a woman at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan Friday. (Published Saturday, July 11, 2015)

    Police are seeking a rapist who attacked a woman at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan Friday.

    According to the NYPD, the attacker raped a 21-year-old woman and beat her around 1 a.m. in the Midtown bus terminal's parking garage. The victim suffered lacerations to her face and body and was treated at a hospital and released, police said.

    The attacker was last seen entering an elevator on the sixth level of the parking garage. He is described as about 30 years old with brown eyes, short braided hair and a mustache, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red, white and blue striped shirt, denim shorts and white sneakers.

    Police have released surveillance images of the suspect (see above).
