Woman Punched on Subway Platform in Midtown: NYPD



    Man Suspected of Punching Woman on Subway

    NYPD released this video of a suspect accused of punching a woman on a subway platform. (Published Saturday, May 6, 2017)

    A woman was punched while on a subway platform in midtown Manhattan, police said Saturday. 

    The 30-year-old woman was walking Thursday morning in the station at 34th Street and Sixth Avenue on the platform for the southbound F train. 

    A man punched her on the side of the head, police said. She was bruised and her face swelled, police said. She refused medical attention. 

    The suspect is about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, 140 pounds and wearing a black hoodie, black jeans and yellow boots, police said.
