Woman Enraged by Bump on Subway Pummels Rider, Causing Concussion: NYPD

Police are looking for a woman they say attacked another woman on the subway in Brooklyn when the victim accidentally bumped into her while stepping aside to let passengers off a train.

Police say the suspect and the 21-year-old victim were both waiting for the Manhattan-bound J train at Broadway Junction in East New York the morning of Monday, July 11. When the train pulled up to the platform, the victim stepped aside to let passengers off and accidentally bumped into the other woman, police said.

The enraged woman pulled the victim to the ground by the hair and punched her in the face repeatedly, police said.

The victim suffered a concussion in the attack. 

The suspect is described as being about 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet 5 inches with a thin build.
