Woman Steals Two $50K Watches From Men in NYC: Police

Police are looking for a woman who they say fleeced two men for wrist watches worth more than $100,000, authorities said.

The woman first struck last summer, when she met a 35-year-old victim in the Meatpacking District at about 4 a.m. on Aug. 21, police said.

The suspect went to the Ace hotel on West 29th Street with the man and took the $55,000 Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch off his wrist and left after he went to sleep.

She met a 28-year-old man at Catch Restaurant on Ninth Avenue at about 1 a.m. on Aug. 25 and went to the Z NYC Hotel in Long Island City with him, police said.

When the man fell asleep, she snatched his $50,000 Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch and left the hotel, police said.

No arrests have been made and the suspect is still at large, police said.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
