A 27-year-old woman is in critical condition after an SUV slammed into her at a Bronx bus stop Sunday morning, investigators said.

The woman was waiting for the BX 39 bus around 5:30 a.m. when the driver of the SUV jumped a curb and barreled into the bus stop, hitting her. She was pinned under the vehicle, police said.

Witnesses said the driver was trying to make a right onto White Plains Road off the Cross Bronx Expressway when he apparently lost control.

Both the woman and the driver were taken to Jacobi Medical Center. The driver is in stable condition, police said.
