Police believe they have found the hit-and-run driver who plowed into a group of people in Paterson early Saturday.
The driver hit a total of six victims, killing one, on Godwin Avenue at about 2:30 a.m., police said.
Police arrested Keema Green, 24, in Teaneck in connection with the deadly hit-and-run, according to The Bergen Record.
Police told the paper that Green was involved in a fight on the street, where 26-year-old Natalie Mestre, 26, of Paterson, was hit by a Mercury Mountaineer with New York plates.
Earlier, witnesses had said the havoc broke out when two women got into an argument.
They said one of the women then got into a red SUV and drove into the crowd.
Late Saturday, police said Green had appeared beaten up and may also have been a victim. They said it did not appear that she drove into the crowd intentionally. She was taken to the hospital to be treated for her injuries.

Witnesses told News 4 New York that Mestre was an "innocent bystander" and had nothing to do with Green's injuries.
