Woman, 25, Found Dead After Brooklyn Fire

The cause of the fire is under investigation

A 25-year-old woman was found dead after firefighters put out a Brooklyn house fire early Saturday, authorities say.

Police responded to a 911 call of a residential fire on Furman Avenue in Bushwick at about 4 a.m. They found the unidentified victim among the rubble after firefighters doused the flames.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
