Melting Snow Reveals Woman's Body Outside Home

She likely died of natural causes during or just before the snowfall that hit late Friday, police say

Police say melting snow revealed the body of a woman found lying on a lawn outside her suburban New York home.

Police tell The Journal News the 55-year-old woman's body was spotted by a neighbor Tuesday morning.

No foul play is suspected. Police say the woman, who rented an apartment in the home in Monsey and lived alone, likely died of natural causes during or just before the snowfall that hit the area late Friday.

Police did not reveal the victim's identity. The Medical Examiner is to determine the cause of death.
