Woman Sought in Subway Shoe Attack: NYPD

Police are looking for a woman they say hit another woman with her shoe at a subway station in Queens Tuesday.

The attacker and the 24-year-old victim were both waiting on the northbound subway platform at the 88th Street and Boyd Avenue station in Ozone Park at about 3 p.m., when the suspect took off her shoe and hit the victim in the head and left eye with it, police said.

The victim was cut in the eye, and the suspect ran off. 

The suspect is described as being about 40 years old, about 5 feet 7 inches, with brown eyes, brown and gray hair, and last seen wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans and black shoes.
