A 78-year-old woman died Sunday in a fire at a Bronx apartment building, police said.
Emergency responders went to the building on Grand Concourse at around 3:30 a.m. Sunday and put out a blaze on the third floor.
The woman was found in an apartment kitchen where it's believed the fire started. She was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other injuries.
The woman's identity has not been released.
