Slick Roads Expected in NJ on Sunday

Forecasters say snow and sleet should develop throughout the state Sunday afternoon before turning to rain late in the day

New Jerseyans may face some slick roads Sunday and even some icing conditions.

Forecasters say snow and sleet should develop throughout the state Sunday afternoon before turning to rain late in the day.

Freezing rain is also expected to fall during the changeover in the north and also possibly farther south.

The National Weather Service said Saturday it expects less than an inch of snow to remain on the ground by Monday morning's commute in all but northernmost New Jersey, where up to 2 inches could still be around.
