4 Sought in Williamsburg Rape

Victim asked suspects for directions, then was led to hotel.

Police are looking for four suspects in connection with a rape in Williamsburg last week.

Police said the 22-year-old victim is visiting from another country on a work furlough. She approached two of the suspects on the street at about 2 a.m. Thursday and asked for directions to her home from there, authorities said.

The suspects then asked the victim if she wanted to go to a party inside the Glenwood Hotel on Broadway. She went with them.

Police said the two suspects walked the victim into the building along with two other suspects and brought her to a room, where she was raped.

It wasn’t immediately clear how many of the suspects assaulted the victim. She was allowed to leave the room and went to the hospital for treatment following the incident.

The four suspects are described as being 25 to 30 years old.

Police ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous.
