Weiner Baby Born Six Months After Sexting Scandal

The 7-pound baby named Jordan Zane Weiner was born Wednesday.

Former Rep. Anthony Weiner and his wife, Huma Abedin, welcomed a bouncing baby Weiner into the world 10 days ahead of schedule.

Huma gave birth to 7-pound Jordan Zain Weiner Wednesday, sources tell NBC News. The baby had been due on New Year’s Eve.

Finally, the beleaguered couple has something to celebrate.

The former Democratic congressman and likely candidate for mayor admitted on June 6 to having numerous sexual relationships online while married, but at the time vowed to stay in office.

He made the admission after days of lying to the media about a misfired Twitter photo of his groin, claiming his account was hacked.

Weiner resigned on June 16, saying he could not continue in office amid the intense controversy. His wife did not attend the announcement.

The couple has been spotted together several times since the scandal, strolling hand-in-hand in Forest Hills and on vacation in Italy.
