Weekend Ends Dark and Stormy as Thunderstorms Enter Tri-State Area

The clouds stick around on Monday with thunderstorms likely in the afternoon

Save that lazy Sunday afternoon picnic for another time.

The weekend ends dark and gloomy as clouds move into the tri-state area.

Expect to see showers move in during the afternoon and evening, getting stronger as the night goes on. The temperature will drop from the lower 70s to upper 50s and 60s.

There will be more showers and isolated thunderstorms overnight.

Monday will have a damp start with a few sprinkles here and there, bringing a gray and dreary commute with it. The weather will turn into another round of showers and thunderstorms by the afternoon. Highs will rise to the low 70s again Monday.
