A man and woman from Brooklyn are accused of shoplifting nearly $4,000 in perfume and other goods from stores in a Rockland County mall, including $3,000 in merchandise from a Victoria's Secret store.
The two suspects, both 32 years old, were stopped Saturday evening after allegedly stealing 18 fragrances, valued at $792, from a Hollister store in the Palisades Center Mall. Police say the pair also had two fragrances from Abercrombie & Fitch that were worth $108.
Police say the duo's Ford Taurus in the parking lot was stuffed with 62 stolen items from Victoria's Secret, worth $3,026.
They were charged with criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny.
