Nine people were injured in a head-on crash in Jamaica, Queens, the FDNY says.
Two vans collided on Merrick Boulevard just before 3:30 p.m., injuring nine people, according to the FDNY. Eight of them had serious injuries but were in stable condition, and one of them had a minor injury.
All the victims were transported to Jamaica Hospital.
