Parents are being warned about a man who approached two children outside a Manhattan school Tuesday morning and offered them candy, according to a letter circulating in the community.
The man got out of a black SUV near P.S. 87, near the American Museum of Natural History on the Upper West side and asked the children if they wanted candy, the letter said.
The man then told the kids to get into his car, the letter said.
The children did not respond and got away safely.
