A 36-year-old man was stabbed in the back in the middle of the afternoon on the Upper East Side Thursday.
FDNY said authorities responded to 99th Street and Second Avenue for reports of a man stabbed.
He was taken to the hospital and is in serious condition.
Police say three people are in custody but there was no immediate word on how they may have been connected.
