UES Serial Groper Strikes Again: Sources

This would be the suspect's ninth attack.

Sources believe the Upper East Side serial groper has struck again.

A 21-year-old woman told police that around 2:30 p.m  Saturday at the 59th Street and Lexington Avenue subway station, a man fitting the description of the groper approached her and lifted her skirt. She screamed for help and the man ran off.

The victim told investigators that he appeared to want to take a picture of her.
 
The description the victim gave police fits that of the serial groper, according to sources. 
 
The "Upper East Side Groper" has struck at least eight times since January.
 
The suspect is described as 4 feet 11 inches tall and 120 pounds with black hair. Anyone with information about him is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
