A man and a woman were killed in an apparent murder-suicide in the Flushing section of Queens Monday evening, authorities say.
They died in front of a restaurant on 41st Avenue near Main Street, the FDNY said, on one of the busiest blocks in downtown Flushing.
Police said the 51-year-old man, identified as Xie Bin, shot the 46-year-old woman, Ya Ling Meng, in the head before turning the gun on himself.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The relationship between the victims wasn't immediately clear.
