    One person died and four others were injured in a multi-vehicle accident on the George Washington Bridge on Sunday, authorities said. 

    Seven vehicles — including a motorcycle — were involved in the crash Sunday evening, the Port Authority Police Department said. 

    One person died in the accident, and four people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, the department said. 

    The crash closed several lanes on the bridge.

    Officials didn't immediately provide additional details about the crash.
