    Truck Gets Lodged Underneath Subway Tracks in Bronx

    A tractor-trailer got stuck underneath a set of elevated subway tracks in the Bronx Wednesday, causing disruptions in service. (Published Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015)

    A truck has gotten stuck underneath elevated subway tracks in the Bronx, causing disruptions to the 4 line.

    Chopper 4 over the scene shows the tractor-trailer lodged underneath the overpass, near Jerome Avenue and East 213th Street.

    No injuries have been reported. 

    Crews are assessing the tracks for damage. In the meantime, 4 service is suspended between Burnside Avenue and Woodlawn in both directions, The MTA advises customers take Bx10, Bx28 and Bx32 buses as alternatives.
