Truck Hits Subway Overpass in Bronx, 4 Service Disrupted

A truck has gotten stuck underneath elevated subway tracks in the Bronx, causing disruptions to the 4 line.

Chopper 4 over the scene shows the tractor-trailer lodged underneath the overpass, near Jerome Avenue and East 213th Street.

No injuries have been reported. 

Crews are assessing the tracks for damage. In the meantime, 4 service is suspended between Burnside Avenue and Woodlawn in both directions, The MTA advises customers take Bx10, Bx28 and Bx32 buses as alternatives.
