Drivers heading eastbound into Queens and Long Island on the Grand Central Parkway and Northern State Parkway should expect long delays.
A car overturned on the eastbound Grand Central Parkway at Francis Lewis Boulevard in Queens, leaving just one shoulder open for traffic to bypass. It's resulting in a massive backup on the parkway extending five miles.
Further east on Long Island, a tractor-trailer accident on the eastbound Northern State Parkway at exit 30 in North Hempstead is also causing long traffic delays.
