Traffic Cone-Toting Gunman Robs NJ Drugstore, Carjacks Priest: Police

Police are on the hunt for a gunman who robbed a southern New Jersey drugstore and carjacked a priest.

The armed man, wearing a hard hat and a mask and carrying a traffic cone, entered a Rite Aid in Haddonfield around noon Tuesday, jumped the pharmacy counter, took out a handgun and demanded Adderall and oxycodone, police said.

After fleeing with the drugs, the man carjacked a priest. He drove for a block, then ditched the car and took off.

He was wearing a yellow rain jacket, a yellow reflective vest and a hooded sweatshirt. He was seen measuring trees and the outside of the building with a tape measure before the robbery.

Detectives say he may also be wanted in the robbery of a Gloucester County drugstore.
