Tour Bus Rolls Over on NH Highway

Police are investigating the rollover of a tour bus on a snowy New Hampshire highway.

It is the third tour bus accident in the Northeast this month.

Fifteen people died March 12 when a bus heading from a Connecticut casino to Manhattan crashed in the Bronx. Days later, another tour bus crashed on the New Jersey Turnpike, killing two.

In this latest crash in New Hampshire, authorities say the bus was carrying about two dozen Korean citizens from Quebec to Boston on Monday night when the driver lost control on Interstate 93 and the bus rolled on its side into the median, injuring almost everyone aboard.

State police said early Tuesday five passengers were being treated for serious injuries and 18 for lesser injuries.

They say the slippery roadway was closed while the bus was removed from where it rolled over in Littleton.

The bus was operated by PRT Tours, of Ridgefield, N.J. The company did not immediately comment.
