That's the top local costume search in Google this year, according to Google Trends' Freightgeist, a collection of Halloween costume search data compiled by the search engine.
Next popular in New York City is Harley Quinn, a comic book character, then Batman, Star Wars and Wonder Woman.
Freightgeist also noted that Cinderella happens to be an unusually popular costume in New York City compared to the rest of the country.
The top 10 popular costumes trending nationally? Harley Quinn, Star Wars, superhero, pirate, Batman, Minnie Mouse, witch, Minions, joker and Wonder Woman.
The most searched couple costumes nationally were Bonnie and Clyde, Beetlejuice, superhero couple, Batman couple and pirate couple.
The most searched dog costumes were Ewok, Minion, spider, Yoda and Chewbacca.
And the top trick-or-treating related question on Google was: "How old is too old to trick-or-treat?"
