Toddler Survives 5-Story Fall After Landing on NY Building Awning: Police

A 2-year-old girl survived a fall from a sixth-floor window in the Bronx, authorities said.

On Friday evening, police responded to a toddler falling from a window on the sixth floor of a co-op building on Mosholu Avenue, only to miraculously land on an awning on the second floor, police said. Residents from the second-floor apartment retrieved the girl, named Audrianna.

She was taken to Jacobi Medical Center and is in stable condition, police said.

According to Kelley Dzyuba, Audrianna's mom, her cousin opened the window and stepped away for a bit from the room where the toddler was.
