A 3-year-old girl was found dead in a snow bank in Sullivan County.

Authorities say an autopsy confirmed that a 3-year-old girl found dead in the snow near her upstate New York home died from hypothermia.

State police investigators say there was no foul play in the death of Cassandra Weronick, who was found Wednesday morning in a snow bank less than a mile from her parents' rural home in the Sullivan County town of Mamakating, just south of the Catskills about 70 miles northwest of New York City.
Authorities say the toddler was wearing only a diaper and a T-shirt when she wandered away from the house while her parents slept. A neighbor driving to work found the girl's body.
The girl's parents, who have two other older children, haven't been charged in connection with her death.
