Thieves Get Away With More Than $30,000 in Cash, Valuables in Queens Robbery Spree: NYPD

Police are looking to track down a pair of thieves who have gotten away with more than $30,000 in cash and valuables in Queens in a string of robberies just days apart, officials say.

The NYPD says the duo have struck at least three times in Kew Gardens when their crime spree began back on Sept. 30, when they took off with about $9,000 worth of cash, jewelry, luxury clothing items and electronic devices.

Two days later, police say the same pair got away with $25,000 in jewelry and $1,400 in electronics from an apartment.

Police say they are looking for these two men in connection with the robbery spree.

On that same day, the duo struck again, getting away with $300 in cash, authorities said.

The NYPD says the crimes do not appear to be targeted.

Police said one of the suspects is described to be in his late 30s and the other man was last seen red hat and gray sweatshirt.

Witnesses are urged to call Crime Stoppers with tips that could lead to the duo’s arrest.
